Our approach

Our approach to psychiatry and mental health is integrative and holistic. Personalized treatments are developed to suit each person's lifestyle and strengthen self-awareness and resources for self-care. Integrative psychiatry looks beyond traditional medications and applies additional interventions, such as change in diet and exercise, development of coping skills, addressing vitamin and mineral deficiencies, and adopting healthy ways of taking care of both our minds and our physical bodies. We are an LBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly practice and believe we are all part of one large ohana.

We currently accept Aloha Care, Ohana, and HMSA

*Self pay is available Hawaii clients on a sliding fee schedule. Please contact the office if you intend to self pay. Self pay accounts must be paid at time of service.

*Payment of co-pays, if required of your insurance plan, must be paid at time of service.

Schedule with Solstice Integrative Psychiatry Today

There is a charge of $100 for no shows or sessions cancelled within 24 hours irrespective of the reason for the absence.  Insurance will not pay this fee. Each calendar year you are allowed one non-charged “pass” for a no show or cancellation made with less than 24 hours notice. We will charge your method of payment on file for the $100 no show/late cancellation fee after the first non-charged “pass.”

A scheduled appointment is considered a “No Show” if you arrive 15 or more minutes late for a therapy appointment, 10 or more minutes late for a medication management appointment.  It is at the discretion of your provider whether or not they will still be able to meet with you.

New patients with a scheduled first time appointment who cancel or no show once will not in most case be able to reschedule.  Established patients who cancel or no show two times in a row will in most cases not be able to reschedule and will be referred to a provider outside of Solstice Integrative Psychiatry.
